Персонал, занятый при работах в замкнутом пространстве должен пройти курс обучения, который должен охватывать:
а) подробную процедуру входа в замкнутые пространства;
б) надлежащее оборудование и снаряжение;
в) выполняемые процедуры, методы действий в чрезвычайных ситуациях;
г) способы предотвращения несанкционированного входа работников;
д) методы голосовой связи;
е) действия при аварийных ситуациях;
ж) необходимость оценки рисков при изменении условий;
и) назначение ответственных лиц по допуску;
к) наличие и применение оборудования для контроля состояния воздуха.

Работники, впервые допущенные к работам в замкнутых пространствах, выполняют работы под непосредственным надзором опытных работников.
