Беларусь и интеграция на Африканском континенте

На сегодняшний день Африканский союз (АС) является самым влиятельным в политическом и экономическом плане региональным объединением на всем Африканском континенте. Организация становится значимой в ООН.
В июле 2012 в ходе саммита АС в городе Аддис-Абебе на пост председателя Комиссии АС избран представитель от ЮАР Н.Дламини-Зума (бывший Министр иностранных дел).
Н.Дламини-Зуме было передано письмо, в котором была выражена заинтересованность Беларуси в налаживании предметного сотрудничества с АС и изложены наиболее перспективные направления взаимодействия.
Республика Беларусь получила статус наблюдателя при Африканском союзе в 2014 году (Посол Беларуси в Эфиопии вручил верительные грамоты Председателю Комиссии АС Н.Дламини-Зуме 6 марта 2014).

САДК
Сообщество развития Юга Африки (САДК), созданное 1 апреля 1980, в настоящее время объединяет 15 государств Юга Африки. САДК является одним из крупнейших, политически и социально-экономически стабильных и наиболее влиятельных субрегиональных объединений Африки. Общая численность населения стран-членов САДК составляет около 257,7 млн. человек, суммарный ВВП - 471 млрд. долл. США. Между странами-членами САДК действует зона свободной торговли. Ведется работа по формированию таможенного союза и общего рынка. В случае образования этих органов САДК войдет в 20 ведущих мировых экономик.
Беларусь рассматривает Сообщество развития Юга Африки (САДК) в качестве важного экономического регионального партнера. Предпринимаются серьезные шаги для налаживания эффективного взаимодействия с этим объединением, в том числе по линии ЕАЭС, поскольку такое взаимодействие внесет значительный вклад в развитие социально-экономического положения всех государств-участников.
