Это не очень большой город в России, но это самый крупный город в Вологодской области.Череповец был основан в 1362 году, когда был основан череповецкий Воскресенский мужской монастырь. Основателями считаются преподобные Феодосий и Афанасий. Череповец знаменит одним из крупнейших металлургических комбинатов России. Это современный город России. В Череповце был построен один из самых первых вантовых мостов в России. Это очень красивый мост.В Череповце развит спорт. В центре города есть Алмаз и большой Ледовый дворец. Здесь дети и взрослый занимаются хоккеем фигурным катанием и конькобежным спортом. В Череповце есть свой хоккейный клуб который успешно играет в турнире
